Performances

The magic that a live performance creates can have benefits that last a lifetime. RDT has a history of supplementing its mainstream productions of Nutcracker and a spring story ballet with other full-length ballets, dance festivals, free concerts and community performances as well as performing in collaboration with other arts’ organizations.

Dorothy and Toto (an amazing dancing "dog") are truly pals as they travel through Oz. They join the Scarecrow in a soft shoe tap number, squeak along with the Tin Man, and all try not to scare the Lion too badly! They stumble across some beautiful Poppies who try to lull them to sleep, only to be awakened by softly falling snow flakes. The 7:00 show will have a special Act 2 with performances by guest dance companies. Ticket prices range from $12-$20 (depending upon the show) and are available.

Dorothy and friends will be serving desserts in a special party (show and an additional ticket required) following the 1:00 matinee.
